Crop Video cuts a video down to a specific aspect ratio by removing the outer edges of every frame — a real crop, not padding or a blurred fill. It accepts MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, and WebM as input, crops to 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, or 4:3 automatically centered on the frame, and saves the result as an MP4.
The crop is computed from your source video's actual dimensions, not a fixed pixel size — whatever resolution you upload, the tool works out the largest centered region that matches your chosen ratio and discards the rest. That means converting a landscape 16:9 recording to a 9:16 crop keeps the full height and trims equally from both sides, rather than squashing or letterboxing the picture.
The whole process runs inside your browser via FFmpeg WebAssembly, so your clip is never uploaded anywhere.
